President of the Central Committee Meets with the Vietnamese Youth Delegation with Disabilities

As Part of the 1st National Congress, President of the Central Committee Meets Outstanding Vietnamese Youth with Disabilities

This afternoon (October 7), within the framework of the 1st National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation for Persons with Disabilities (2024–2029), Mr. Đỗ Văn Chiến – Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front – warmly welcomed 48 young delegates, representing 133 outstanding youths with disabilities nationwide.

These delegates are attending the historic inaugural Congress and were also honored under the 2024 “Radiant Vietnamese Willpower” program.

Also in attendance were Mr. Bùi Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, and Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth; Mr. Hoàng Công Thủy, Member of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Lương, Permanent Secretary of the Youth Union Central Committee, and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation; along with representatives from the Central Youth Union, Vietnam Youth Federation, and leaders of TCP Vietnam Co., Ltd

At the meeting, the outstanding young delegates with disabilities shared their personal stories—journeys of resilience and determination to overcome adversity and affirm their place in society. They also voiced heartfelt proposals and aspirations to Mr. Đỗ Văn Chiến, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, calling for greater attention from all levels of leadership toward vulnerable and disadvantaged communities, especially persons with disabilities. They emphasized the need for more inclusive environments that foster opportunities for growth and development.
