President of the Vietnam Youth with Disabilities Association visits the Cerebral Palsy Family Association of Vietnam
On the morning of April 2, 2025, Mr. Phạm Văn Thành – President of the Vietnam Youth with Disabilities Association (VNYDA) paid a visit to the office of the Cerebral Palsy Family Association of Vietnam (CPFAV), located at 1074 La Thành Street, Ba Đình District, Hanoi.
The visit took place in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, opening up new prospects for strengthening connections, providing support, and promoting social inclusion for young people living with cerebral palsy (CP) in Vietnam.
During the meeting, the two organizations shared their concerns and aspirations regarding the development opportunities for CP youth, particularly in the areas of career orientation, sustainable employment, and capacity-building for active social participation. The visit also served as a platform to connect with ongoing initiatives led by the Adults Living with Cerebral Palsy Vietnam (ACPV) group, thereby amplifying the voices and visibility of CP youth in both national and international forums.
The presence and engagement of the President of the Vietnam Youth with Disabilities Association demonstrated not only the spirit of solidarity and collaboration among organizations working for persons with disabilities, but also served as a powerful source of encouragement for families, caregivers, and the young individuals who are striving to overcome their circumstances, live independently, and contribute meaningfully to the community.
The Cerebral Palsy Family Association of Vietnam (CPFAV) reaffirms its commitment to closely collaborate with youth disability organizations across the country, expand support networks, and collectively build an inclusive, equitable, and compassionate society – where every young person has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and shine.
